Austin-Travis County EMS deliver healthy baby girl on the side of a service road
AUSTIN,Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Austin-Travis County EMS helped welcome a sweet baby girl into the world.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics delivered a healthy baby girl Saturday around 3:15 a.m. on a highway service road in North Austin, officials said.
EMS said the mother and baby girl, whose names were withheld because of federal privacy laws were taken to the hospital and are doing fine.
EMS tweeted a photo Saturday of the medic who assisted in the delivery holding the newborn.
This is the second delivery made by EMS recently, back on Dec. 18 medics delivered a healthy baby boy on the side of the road in Del Valle.
