Barton Creek Greenbelt reopens
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The City of Austin says that the Barton Creek Greenbelt is reopning at noon today (5/13).
It had been shut down due to unsafe conditions after recent rain.
Officials say slick and muddy conditions are still present in several areas so they advise those who do decided to go to the greenbelt to use caution and to stick to official trails.
To report any dangerous/damaged conditions, people should call 3-1-1 or 512-974-2000 if outside of the area.
Park and facility closures are also available online.
