CapMetro to provide modified service for Labor Day

CapMetro will be operating on a "Sunday-level of service" on Monday for the Labor Day holiday.

As part of this, there will be no MetroRail, MetroExpress, UT Shuttle, Pickup Service, Night Owl or E-Bus service on Monday, Sept. 2.

According to a release from CapMetro, all MetroAccess subscription trips will be automatically canceled, but customers who need to keep their trips on Labor Day can call or go online to reschedule them.

Service will resume its regular weekday schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Administrative offices and the Transit Store will be closed Monday, but CapMetro says the customer service GO line will be staffed from 8 a.m. to 5p.m. and customers will have 24-hour access to the automated phone line and online trip planner.

More information about Capital Metro schedules and services can be found online, on the CapMetro App or by calling the GO Line at 512-474-1200.
