Child seriously injured after being hit by vehicle near Hudson Bend

AUSTIN, Texas - A child was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in the Hudson Bend area Wednesday evening.

Austin-Travis County EMS said the crash happened near Hudson Bend Rd. and Beacon Dr. around 5 p.m.

ATCEMS said the child was taken to Dell Children's with critical, life-threatening injuries.

No other information was released.
