1 dead after driver hit pedestrian in South Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin police are investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian crash in South Austin.

Austin-Travis County EMS says a driver hit an adult at the intersection of Capital of Texas Highway and Mopac.

First responders performed CPR when they arrived, but the pedestrian died at the scene.

Police are investigating.
