FOX 7 Discussion: Beto's run for the nomination

AUSTIN,Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Former Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke raised more money in the first 24 hours of his campaign than any other Democratic hopeful.

The Democratic presidential candidate raised more than $6 million during the first 24 hours after he announced his White House bid. 

But will the popularity he enjoyed in Texas translate nationally?  FOX-7 Austin’s Mike Warren talked to Travis County GOP chairman Matt Mackowiak and Ed Espinoza from Progress Texas about whether or not Beto can win the big nomination.
