Man dies after being hit by train

Austin police are investigating after a man was hit and killed by a train.

It happened at around 4:40 a.m. at West St. Elmo Road and Mount Vernon Drive which is near St. Elmo Elementary School.

Police say the body of a man in his 20s was found near the tracks.
