Swimmer dies in Lake Austin
Austin-Travis County EMS says 911 calls came in just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday about a swimmer who went underwater near the Pennybacker Bridge. The victim's body has been recovered.
AUSTIN, Texas - A swimmer is dead after being pulled from Lake Austin Sunday night.
Austin-Travis County EMS says 911 calls came in just before 8:30 p.m. about a swimmer who went underwater near the Pennybacker Bridge along Capital of Texas Highway.
About 20 minutes later, medics pulled an adult from the water.
They were pronounced dead on scene.
