Officials say one man was killed in traffic crash on Texas 71 west of Bee Cave

AUSTIN, Texas - Officials said one man was killed Tuesday afternoon and a woman and two children were injured after a crash on Texas 71 west of Bee Cave.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, one woman was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center and two children were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the two-vehicle crash happened around 3 p.m.
Travis County Sheriff's said westbound lanes of Texas 71 are closed at Pedernales Summit Parkway.
Police are asking commuters to avoid area until the highway reopens.
