Round Rock Police arrest suspect in road rage incident involving gunfire

Round Rock Police have arrested a suspect connected to a Sunday night car crash that involved gunfire. 

Around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Round Rock Police arrested Xaiver Gutierrez on a previous Travis County Warrant concerning credit card abuse.

According to police, Gutierrez has since been charged with Aggravated Assault for randomly shooting at a victim on Sunday night at the 1300 block of North AW Grimes Blvd.

Guitierrez allegedly fired from the vehicle he was in, into the victim's vehicle, hitting the victim in the head. Following getting struck in the head, the victim's vehicle rolled over and crashed into an electrical pole. The victim survived and is in stable condition. 

According to police, Gutierrez has a previous arrest history.
