RRPD confirm a child was injured after being hit by a vehicle

AUSTIN,Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Round Rock Police Department says a child was hit by a car near Hernandez Middle School Tuesday afternoon. 

It happened around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Sunrise Road and Wayne Drive. 

The child has non-life threatening injuries reported the RRPD. 

According to officials the child attends Robertson Elementary School.
