Authorities in Williamson County say two men have been arrested in connection to a burnt body found in Jarrell earlier this month.

On June 9th, the body of 33-year-old Crystal Ann Cuellar of Kyle was found wrapped in a blanket on I-35. The Medical Examiner's Officer ruled her death a homicide.

29-year-old Juan Jose Nuno and 41-year-old Erasmo Ibane Reyes have been charged with tampering with physical evidence, a second degree felony.

According to court documents, Reyes and Cuellar were in a relationship. In the early morning hours of June 9th, Nuno (Reyes' roommate) heard a noise from Reyes' room and saw Reyes escape carrying a gun. The documents say Nuno told Reyes Cuellar shot herself.

Because Reyes had warrants and drugs in the house, the two worked together to get rid of her body. With the help of another person, they wrapped up her body and set it on fire later dumping it on I-35.

Both men are currently in the Williamson County Jail and authorities say more arrests are expected.
