APD officer sues over Newsom allegations; peace officer groups talk Manley 'inaction'

An Austin police detective has filed suit against the city of Austin and recently retired Assistant Police Chief Justin Newsom, claiming that discrimination played a part in his being denied transfers to highly-desired positions.
