Soul Food meets popcorn at Austin’s ‘Soul Popped’

De J. Lozada had just $53 in her bank account back in 2016 when she decided to start a business making her favorite snack: popcorn. Now, the Soul Food-meets-popcorn concept “Soul Popped” has achieved more than half a million dollars in sales. Lozada joined Good Day Austin’s Casey Claiborne this week to share her inspirational story.
