After years of waiting, Del Valle residents get brand new Fire, EMS station
: It?s a story Fox 7 Austin has been covering for several years: The people of Del Valle/Moore?s Crossing have gone without nearby fire and EMS service for decades. One neighborhood in particular, Berdoll Farms?residents there had said they were experiencing higher insurance premiums because help was so far away. Last week a brand new Austin Fire and EMS station opened up on Elroy Road. Good Day Austin?s Casey Claiborne zoomed with Austin Fire, Austin Travis County EMS as well as Berdoll Farms HOA President Tony Maldanado.
