Addressing hypertension among racial and ethnic minority populations
CDC research has shown that Black and Hispanic Americans made up a higher portion of deaths related to COVID-19 and a new initiative from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services with the American Heart Association will work work to address an underlying condition that may have increased the risk of severe illness due to COVID-19.
