Hero Austin nurse gets to work in snow by holding up cardboard ‘Need Ride’ sign

Something Texans don’t specialize in: snow and ice. But what we do specialize in: determination. On Good Day Austin Sunday morning, we visit with Austin-area nurses Megan Alsmeyer (St. David’s) and CJ Cailao (Ascension Seton) about how CJ had a rough time getting to work this week. But being resourceful, he made a cardboard “Need Ride” sign and got there. But he lent a helping hand along the way first.
