Black History Month: Architect John Chase

John Chase, who passed away in 2012, was a trailblazer for African Americans in Texas. He was the first African American to enroll and graduate from UT?s architecture school in the 1950?s and later became the first African American to practice architecture in Texas. His works are all around us in Austin. On Good Day Austin Saturday morning we talked with UT professor Dr. Tara Dudley who is writing a book on Chase.
