East meets West at Asian American Cultural Center
The past year has been tough for many in the Asian American Pacific Islander community. Many have faced increased hate and violence and it's caused many to be afraid to be visible. One place in Austin is hoping to restore a sense of comfort and security to AAPI people through its mission that hasn't changed in more than 20 years.
