Living with Type 1 Diabetes

More than a million people live with Type 1 Diabetes and there's still no known cure. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or JDRF Austin is working to change that.

The organization is holding an event in May with the goal of raising $1.5 million. JDRF Board Member Ashley Bartram and her daughter Lucy, who has Type 1 Diabetes, provide more details.
