Trendy Tuesday: Taking care of your skin

Dr. Ted Lain with Sanova Dermatology has some back to basics tips for your skin care routine.

The following is a recipe for a make at home organic mask and exfoliator:

2 Tbsp Plain Greek Yogurt
1 Tbsp honey (Honey is a naturally antibacterial agent and full of antioxidants. Choose a raw honey from the farmers market or a Manuka honey, which is better for skin than a processed honey from the grocery store.)
1 tsp oatmeal (Oatmeal is a centuries-old remedy for itchy or dry skin. Choose a whole oatmeal for this recipe rather than a processed or flavored version.)

Mix together, apply to skin using firm circular motion, leave on 30 seconds, then rinse off with warm water.
