10th anniversary for Flatwater Foundation's TYLER's Dam That Cancer

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - It's the 10th anniversary for the Flatwater Foundation's TYLER's Dam That Cancer event.

200 paddleboarders take off on a 21 mile journey to raise awareness and funds for mental health thearpy and family support for those affected by cancer.

The journey takes paddlers up Lake Austin from Mansfield Dam to Tom Miller Dam.

The goal is to raise $1 million.

The public is invited to cheer on paddlers as they finish up the course at the Hula Hut dock and then to celebrate at the LCRA Redbud Center at 3601 Lake Austin Boulevard.

Paddlers are expected to arrived at the Hula Hut dock at around 5:30 p.m. and the celebration starts shortly after beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m.
