23 scooters catch fire in bed of pick-up truck Friday
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Austin firefighters responded to a large scooter fire Friday night.
The fire happened around 11:45 p.m. on Brazos Street and 1st Street.
According to the Austin Fire Department, the driver of a pick-up truck was collecting scooters to charge Friday night when a passenger in the truck saw flames coming from the bed.
AFD says 23 scooters caught fire because of a generator malfunction.
Fortunately, no one was harmed, however, the scooters may not be operable.
