It was a sea of yellow on lady Bird Lake as thousands of rubber duckies all for a good cause. It was the 4th annual Austin Duck Derby which benefits the Austin Boys and Girls Club Foundation.
17,000 rubber ducks were dropped into the water from the Ann Richards Congress Avenue Bridge traveling down to the finish line.
People adopted the ducks for $5 hoping it was first to finish and win a prize and it was especially fun for the kids.
The money raised goes to help guide youth in the Austin area down a positive path. Their goal was to raise more than $190,000.
