APD investigating after man shot in face
The Austin Police Department is investigating after a man was shot in the face on Saturday.
According to APD, police officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly after 7 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in the 7300 block of Duval Street.
When police officers arrived on scene, they discovered a victim who had been shot in the face.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, the victim was unable or unwilling to give police any details about who or why a shooting took place. There is currently no search for a suspect but the Austin Police Department is still investigating.
