APD is searching for a man accused of vandalizing the Austin Central Library cafe
AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department Graffiti Unit is asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect who was pictured vandalizing the newly opened Austin Central Library’s café.
According to police the suspect spray painted the windows and caused more than $1,000 in damages to the library.
It happened on Oct. 28., around 10 p.m. police said.
Police said the suspect arrived at the library and was wrapped in a white bed comforter.
Police describe the suspect as being a white man, weighing around 175 pounds, having short brown hair and being in his mid-20’s.
According to police the suspect was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, with tan khaki shorts and black sneakers. He was also carrying a red pink backpack.
