APD searching for sexual assault suspect

The Austin Police Department are searching for the suspect that attacked a female jogger Monday morning.

According to police, the incident occurred on the 900 block of Grove Blvd. just before 10 A.M. in the 900 block of Grove Blvd.

The victim told police she was attacked from behind while she was running and was sexually assaulted by the suspect. The victim said she fought back and the suspect ran away, headed south on Grove Blvd.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20's. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie.

There will be a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
