Body of missing swimmer recovered at McKinney Falls State Park

The body of a missing swimmer has been recovered at McKinney Falls State Park in South Austin.

The swimmer is said to be a 20-year-old male. His identity hasn't been released at this time. 

Both Austin-Travis County EMS and AFD searched for the missing swimmer for over two hours. 

According to ATCEMS, multiple swimmers were dispatched into the water at the upper falls of the McKinney Falls State Park to search for the missing swimmer after 6 pm on Friday, June 23, 2017. 

The search was transitioned from rescue to recovery mode after an extended amount of time.
