Burglary at Kendra Scott flagship on South Congress

Austin-based jeweler Kendra Scott has released security camera footage of a burglary at its flagship store on South Congress in the hopes of finding the suspect.

The company is offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who offers information leading to an arrest.

The burglary happened at around 3:40 a.m. on April 2. The video shows a man who appears to wearing all black with white tennis shoes and a black baseball hat.

The man gets inside the store and starts breaking glass display cases and grabbing jewelry and then stuffing it all into a bag. He breaks multiple cases before leaving.

The suspect is only in the store for about 40 seconds.

The company released an official statement. It says:

The company is working closely with the Austin Police Department. If you know anything about the incident you're asked to contact police.
