Future of Hawaiian Falls in hands of Pflugerville City Council

The future of the Hawaiian Falls Water Park is n the hands of the Pflugerville City Council.

After failing to make monthly payments, the park is nearly $400,000 behind. Source Horizon, which operates the park, missed both October and November's $132,000 payments.

The Pflugerville Community Development Co-Op is stepping in to help foot the bill so taxpayers won't have to. They have a reserve of more than $1 million to handle these kinds of situations.

The council is expected to make a decision on the park's future soon.
