Honor Flight Austin takes 17 veterans to Washington D.C.

Seventeen veterans traveled to Washington D.C. on Saturday with the help of Honor Flight Austin.
The Austin-area veterans, who had served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, traveled to the nation's capitol on October 28, 2017 to visit the memorials built in their honor.
Trips on Honor Flight Austin are made possible at no cost to the veterans through donations.
The veterans, guardians and staff will be returning Sunday, October 29, 2017. They are expected to arrive at the Austin-Bergstorm International Airport at 7:20 p.m. at the Barbara Jordan terminal.
Honor Flight Austin is asking anyone who is available and willing to join them in welcoming home the seventeen veterans around 8 p.m. in the upstairs west ticketing area.
