Man arrested for East Austin sexual assault

According to the Affidavit for Warrant of Arrest and Detention 24-year-old Aaron Web Jr. has been charged with Sexual Assault, a 2nd Degree Felony and Burglary with Intent to Commit Sexual Assault, a 1st Degree Felony .

On December 10th, 2015 a woman reported that Webb had broken into her home and sexually assaulted her.

The assault took place on Windy Brook Drive off of Manor Rd. in East Austin.

The victim describes the assault in graphic detail in her formal statement made to authorities on December 15th, 2015.

She was home alone at the time of the attack when she heard someone enter her residence.  She thought that the person who entered was a roommate that moved in a month earlier.

The arrest warrant goes on to describe the events, "...the suspect ran into her room and pusher her down onto the bed as she was turning to see who was at the door.  The victim stated the suspect put his hand over her mouth while still holding her down and yelled "where's the money?..."

Webb allegedly used his fingers and sexually assaulted the victim.  The warrant goes on to say that he tried to do more on more than one occasion but was not able to, "only grinding on her."

According to the victims statement, "she then started to get bold and began to degrade the suspect and told him that he could 'not do shit.'  She stated the suspect sighed in frustration and left her room."  It was at this time that the victim was able to get free, lock herself in her bedroom and call 9-1-1.

On December 30th, 2015 detectives were notified that there was a hit on the fingerprints found at the crime scene.

After conducting further investigations involving interviews with both the victim and the suspect APD issued a warrant for the Webb's arrest.

Webb is currently in police custody, being held on a $70,000 bond.
