Man caught on camera punching another man in the face

San Marcos police are searching for a man seen in surveillance video punching another man in the face and knocking him down. Police say the victim's head hit the ground, which caused unconsciousness. 

Police posted to Facebook asking the public for help in identifying the suspect. The incident happened March 10, 2018 around 1 a.m. in front of the Hive Bar in San Marcos. 

San Marcos PD said the victim suffered severe head trauma.
