Man injured after falling 20 feet down in to creek bed

DEL VALLE, Texas - A man suffered serious injuries after falling 20 feet down a creek bed in Del Valle.
Austin-Travis County EMS says that the man in his 30s fell down the embakment last night (10/27) in the 6200 block of south FM 973 Road.
Crews used a rope system to get the man up from the creek bed.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with what officials say are traumatic injuries. They say the man is expected to be okay.
