Man seriously injured after being hit by a car in southwest Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - Medics have transported a man with potentially life-threatening injuries to a nearby hospital after being stuck by a car Monday evening in southwest Austin. 

Austin-Travis County EMS said the crash happened around 6:48 p.m. on the 1600 block East Riverside Drive. 

The man in his 40’s was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center. 

Commuters can expect delays.
