McDonald’s Boo Buckets returning; here’s how to get one

McDonald’s is officially bringing its Halloween merchandise back just in time for the spooky season.

The fast-food giant announced earlier this week that its Happy Meal Boo Buckets will be returning to restaurants nationwide.

What they're saying:

"Boo! We’re back, did you miss us?," McDonald’s wrote on its website. "Halloween buckets are popping up everywhere like ghosts in the night– and hey, imitation is the most BOO-tiful form of flattery. But let’s be real: there's only one OG Halloween bucket, and it comes with a Happy Meal."

This year’s lineup will feature familiar frightful faces – Ghost, Pumpkin and Goblin – plus two new ghoulie friends, Cat and Zombie.

The McDonald’s Boo Buckets will be available starting Oct. 21 at your local McDonald’s location.

The buckets will be available while supplies last and will only be available with Happy Meal orders, temporarily replacing the classic Happy Meal boxes.

"They are perfect for collecting candy (or nuggets) and keeping the spooky spirit alive long after the last jack-o’-lantern flickers out," Burger King said.

Meanwhile, Wendy’s is also offering its Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal. Kids can collect up to 12 spooky toys from the meal.
