Police investigating shooting in North Austin

Police are investigating a shooting in North Austin. It happened just before 4:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express along I-35 between 183 and Rundberg.

Austin/Travis County EMS says a man in his 20s was taken to the hospital. Police say he was shot in the stomach.

No details about a motive or a suspect have been released at this time.
