Police looking for 3 suspects in connection to assault at downtown Austin bar

AUSTIN, Texas - Police are asking for help identifying three suspects in connection with an assault at a downtown Austin bar in February.

What we know:

Police said on Feb. 28, at 1:19 a.m., officers responded to reports of a disturbance at Lowdown Lounge at 1412 East 6th Street. The call stated that a man was assaulted and bleeding from the head. 

When officers arrived, they found the victim with wounds to his head. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation states that three men began fighting three other men inside the bar. As a result of the fighting, one of the victims was seriously injured.

Police said no suspect has been identified at this time, and no arrests have been made. 

Detectives believe there are more witnesses to the incident and are asking anyone with photos, videos, or potential evidence to share them with Austin police. You can submit items by clicking here or using the QR code below.
