San Marcos police ask for help identifying check forger
The San Marcos Police Department has released surveillance photos so that the public can help identify a man accused of passing a forged check.
The man wrote a check for more than $1,000 at a Wal-Mart in Brady. He was last seen leaving the store in what appears to be a black Chevrolet crew cab truck.
The check was later discovered to have been stolen from a San Marcos resident.
