Suspect arrested and charged for murder at Givens Park
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - A suspect believed to be responsible for the death of Andre "Big Dre" Davis has been arrested, according to the Austin Police Department. The 47-year-old was shot and killed during a possible robbery at Givens Park on Tuesday, April 9.
25-year-old Glenn Madison Deal Jr. has been arrested and charged with Capital Murder.
According to the Austin Police Department, officers were dispatched to Givens Park for calls about a shooting on Tuesday, April 9 around 10:44 p.m. When first responders arrived on scene, they located the deceased body of Andre Davis with obvious trauma.
The Travis County Medical Examiner determined the cause of death to be gunshot wound/Homicide.
Glenn Madison Deal Jr. was arrested for Capital Murder on Thursday, May 30.
