Temperatures plunge across Central Texas

Temperatures have plunged after the first of several waves of chilly air has moved into Central Texas. We had highs in the 70's and 80's on Wednesday, and today's highs are in the 30's and 40's!

This cold air mass won't last long, as southeast winds will boost temperatures back into the 60's and 70's as early as Friday. That won't last too long either though. After another warm day Saturday, an arctic front will chill things off. Temperatures will fall on Sunday and plunge further on Monday.

There may a few weekend showers as well, along with plenty of clouds.

However rain totals will stay in the lighter side.

Expect FREEZING or NEAR FREEZING temperatures in the mornings for several days early next week!
