Amber Alert canceled after abducted 7-year-old found
SAN JACINTO COUNTY, Texas - A 7-year-old reported to have been abducted out of San Jacinto County has been found, according to officials.
Hazel Hodge-Lassiter was last seen on Sept. 25 in the 900 block of County Line Road in Shepherd, Texas and was believed to have been with her mother, 41-year-old Ashley Doss-Lassiter.
San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office authorities have not released where they found they young girl or who she was with.
According to the sheriff's office, there was an investigation ongoing with Child Protective Services that was going to court.
CPS received a court order to take custody of the child, but when authorities went to serve the warrant on Friday, the child and her parents could not be found.
Authorities initially listed the father as someone they were looking into for the adduction, but later stated he was not involved.

At this time, San Jacinto County officials have not said if any arrests were made.
