The final design of the commemorative $1 gold coin featuring President Donald Trump, approved ahead of America's 250th anniversary celebration.

The commemorative $1 gold coin created to celebrate America 250 and designed with President Donald Trump’s face on one side, is now available to purchase, the U.S. Mint announced on Wednesday. 

How to get the Trump $1 gold coin

Approximately 250,000 special-issue coins marked "July 4th," because they were stuck on that day, have been randomly included in bags and rolls that can be purchased online from the U.S. Mint’s online catalog. 

What you can do:

Consumers who wish to purchase the coins may experience a wait while trying to access the website. 

The online catalog also indicated that the coins were currently on back order. 

How much are the commemorative coins? 

By the numbers:

  • A 25-coin roll costs $61
  • A 100-coin roll costs $154.50 (this is currently unavailable online)

What's next:

Households are limited to only two orders, the U.S. Mint wrote, but that cap will lift at 2 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday.
