Two Texas officers injured in crash chasing road rage suspect

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Two Texas police officers have been taken to the hospital with serious injuries after crashing during a vehicle pursuit of a person involved in a road rage incident.

Fort Worth Police spokesman Officer Brad Perez told The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Sunday that the officers were responding to a call around 3 p.m. for a road rage incident during which a suspect allegedly displayed a gun at another vehicle.

Perez says there was "some type of accident" that involved the officers crashing their patrol car into a brick wall at a Wells Fargo Bank and the suspect's car being disabled as well. Perez says police are searching for the suspect who took off on foot after the accident.
