With less than 100 days until kickoff, World Cup fever is already building as official jerseys, match balls and other tournament merchandise hit shelves around the globe.

Here’s where fans can score official World Cup gear:

Official FIFA Store

FIFA.com is the primary source for authentic, event-specific World Cup merchandise, including official jerseys, match balls and licensed apparel. The site also offers host city gear and exclusive souvenirs, giving fans direct access to officially sanctioned tournament products.

Adidas

Adidas, the official provider of World Cup match balls, jerseys and on-field apparel, offers a wide range of tournament gear through its website and retail stores. Fans can shop authentic national team kits, training wear and limited-edition collections tied to the event.

World Soccer Shop

Fans looking to gear up for the World Cup can find official merchandise through specialty retailers like World Soccer Shop, which carries a wide range of authentic, licensed gear. The site offers national team jerseys, apparel, balls, and accessories tied to major tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup™, with products sourced from top brands and federations.

Other retailers

Major U.S. retailers like Target and JCPenney are also making it easy for fans to find World Cup-themed gear alongside specialty soccer shops. As with any retailer, shoppers should look for officially licensed branding when buying World Cup gear to ensure authenticity and quality, particularly during peak tournament demand.

FIFA World Cup 2026 format

Why you should care:

The World Cup group stage format for 2026 was changed to 12 groups of four teams from 16 groups of three teams, increasing the total to 104 matches from 64 in the 2022 tournament in Qatar.

To win a World Cup, a nation will have to play eight games, up from the seven in place since 1974.

The top two teams in each group and the top eight third-place teams will advance to a new round of 32 that starts the knockout phase. Advancement for third-place teams was eliminated for 1998, when the tournament expanded from 24 teams to 32.

More matches mean more content for television broadcasters and more tickets to sell, increasing revenue for FIFA.
