AMA adopts new policy on BMI, noting limitations
The Body Mass Index (BMI) as an estimate of body fat was developed about 50 years ago. Now it's everywhere, mostly as a screening tool for obesity. But a movement to shift away from BMI as a measure of individual health risk is gaining traction. FOX Medical Team's Dr. Mike joins us with more.
