Arctic blast: Hard Freeze Warning continues until noon Saturday

Central Texas is waking up with wind chills in the single digits and some of us are even in negative territory. Limit outdoor activity until at least noon today. Adaleigh Rowe has the latest on the arctic blast.

The Arctic Blast is here! The very strong cold front arrived right around noon on Thursday.

Temperatures tumbled behind it and the winds increased to 25 to 35 mph.

This morning temperatures were in the teens, and feels-likes were in the single digits! We even had some negative numbers on the map.

On the bright side, we have sunny skies that will allow us to warm up to about 30 today.

A WIND CHILL WARNING is in effect from 6 p.m. Thursday until noon on Friday. During this time, it's important to limit time outdoors. In this weather, it only takes a couple of hours to experience frostbite.
