Unique cocktails with a touch of science at The Tipsy Alchemist
AUSTIN, Texas - A new bar on Rainey Street, The Tipsy Alchemist, uses light bulbs, liquid nitrogen and a little ‘weird science’ to make their drinks. Bar manager Christian Rodriguez joined Good Day Austin’s Casey Claiborne to talk about what they do.
The bar located on the second level of 70 Rainey gives the elevated cocktails names like The Edison, as seen in the above video, as well as the Mad Hatter which is mixed via transport through a pneumatic tube transport system similar to the tubes you deposit checks through at the bank.
