638 pounds of meth seized in Cedar Creek

About 638 pounds of methamphetamine was seized in a Cedar Creek, Texas home, the Cedar Park Police Department says. 

The police department, the DEA and many other agencies conducted a joint narcotics operation and searched the residence in Bastrop County, according to CPPD. Authorities discovered the meth, three semi-automatic pistols, a stolen car and about $25,861 in cash. 

29-year-old Guillermo Andres Juarez-Perez and 27-year-old Alejandro Meza Palacios were arrested and booked into the Bastrop County Jail. They are charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance greater than 400 grams. 

Police say the street value of the meth is estimated to be about $23 million.
