APD: Gas leak shuts down traffic on West Oltorf

AUSTIN, Texas - A gas leak in the 1400 block of W. Oltorf Street has led to officers with the Austin Police Department to shut down the road to traffic. Traffic is shut down between Thornton and South Lamar. 

The road is expected to be closed for at least one and a half hours, according to police.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and to use alternate routes if possible.
